DESCRIPTION
Our customer is looking for a dynamic, innovator and autonomous new employee to joint the Treasury Team.
The Credit Coordinator is responsible for managing full range of credit functions. The candidate will report to Treasury Manager and work closely with AR team to achieve corporate objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Credit risk assessment of new and existing accounts using latest techniques
- Order releases
- Perform yearly credit line revision per the guideline
- Periodic review of accounts receivable ledger with account representatives team to resolve issues
- Follow up on collection and resolution of account reconciliations for disputed amounts
- Distribute daily cash receipts to customer accounting representatives and do the bank deposit as a back up
- Review AR journal entries for authorized approvals
- Set up new account information in the system as required
- Produce Management reports on request for the Treasury Director
SQUILLS REQUIRED
- DEC in Finance and a minimum of 5 years experience in Credit in a manufacturing environment or other combination of scolarity and job experience
- Membership in Credit Institute of Canada is desirable
- Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills, strong organization skills, results and detail oriented. Team player. Ability to work under pressure
- Bilingual (french and english) spoken and written is a must
